Quality Physical Therapy is committed to helping children overcome the effects of serious injury or long-term disability. Our experienced and conscientious staff use a unique hands-on approach, known as Biosynchronistics, to help reduce tone and restore alignment, preparing a child’s body for more efficient movement.
This, when coupled with specific exercises that promote more effective movement patterns, will enable each child to reach their full physical potential. Each treatment is individualized to address each child’s specific needs based on a targeted and comprehensive assessment that will promote only the best functional outcomes.
We can help
Biosynchronistics is a systematic, integrated approach to manual physical therapy that is effective in addressing common neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Many of these conditions cause a child’s body to deviate from its natural biomechanical equilibrium, resulting in misalignment. This changes their center of gravity and causes their body to compensate for its misalignment, resulting in muscles that tighten and even spasm.
Biosynchronistics corrects for this misalignment, restoring equilibrium so that the body can stop using these compensations.

“I highly recommend Jim Lane’s occupational therapy services. My son has been working with Jim for many months, and I have seen him grow tremendously. What Our Patients Have to Say
“Jim and his treatment plan have changed our lives! We met Jim because our daughter had developmental delays that our doctors still have no explanation for. Over the course of a year and many unanswered questions, Jim has our baby girl rolling, walking, running, eating table food without choking and drinking from a straw! His attention to the human body and commitment to his patients has gotten us here today. We will forever be grateful for his dedication to our daughter and the life he has brought her.”
“This is an email from Olivia’s PT at school: ‘We tried the stander this morning! I lowered it to the shortest setting and it fit perfectly so that’s awesome! She tolerated about 5 minutes. After that we did sit to stands from a bench to the parallel bars and she did fabulous! She stood for anywhere from 8 seconds to over 1 minute!! And her legs were straight instead of all the moving she usually does.’ It’s so wonderful to see some great progress and I attribute that to your help. Thank you so much for working with Olivia.”
