PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CLINICS
Advice from Experts
Your body “remembers” everything significant that happens to it.
Schoolyard falls, sports bang-ups, icy sidewalk upsets, hundreds of hours of cradling a phone hand free between your ear, jaw, and shoulder, years of habitually hanging a heavy pocketbook from the same shoulder, constantly pointing your chin toward a computer screen, angling a hip time and again to hold a husky youngster-any and all of these bodily experiences harmfully add up.
Amazingly, your body accommodates both significant one-time insults and the accumulated lesser impacts of daily living. At a price. You may walk with a slight hitch. You may slouch in a chair to ease the tightness in a knee. You may have unhappily given up jogging. You may put up with headaches. Your get-up-and-go may seem like a thing of the past.
In these and many other commonplace inconveniences or in more painful conditions, your body may struggle with numerous forces working overtime in interlocking layers and at cross-purposes. The beginnings of the condition may lie in a difficult breech birth for the mother, for the newborn (then or even years later), or both. You may suffer from a medical condition that has gone undiagnosed. Your condition may be inherited, congenital, acquired through a disease, resulting from habitual strain placed on your body, or from a major one-time event.
But given an opportunity, your body will draw upon its built-in capability to balance itself according to physics principles. It just needs to be pointed toward that balance.
This process, which we call BioSynchronistics®, employs a therapeutic approach in which gentle hands-on pressure is applied knowledgeably in a scientifically coordinated way to bring your body into balance.

TESTIMONIAL
This is by far the best physical therapy place I have ever gone to! It is not like your traditional PT place. They use a different technique, biosynchronistics. I do have to drive an hour there but believe me it is so worth it. AMAZING! I am so glad I go here and it is working wonders. I feel centered and am aware of how I move my body. I can’t say enough great things about this place. You need to check it out for yourself!

INDUSTRIAL WELLNESS SERVICES
Drastically reduce workplace injuries and workers’ compensation claims, and reduce health insurance claims with an Early Symptom Intervention (ESI) Wellness Program on-site at your place of business.
Early Symptom Intervention is a proactive program, not reactive. The Program encourages and supports early detection of issues rather than late reporting of claims. It promotes a zero-accident mentality, not merely settling for an industry standard.
Early Symptom Intervention furthers the Job Coaching concept and can advance an employer to the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program Status for Excellence in Health & Safety. More productivity and lower costs, resulting from less downtime and a healthier workforce, summarize our documented outcomes.
How was the ESI Wellness Program developed?
After years of Clinical Practice, developing and utilizing BioSynchronistics® to treat thousands of challenging orthopedic patients, we realized this model had to change.
Before beginning physical therapy at our clinic, many of these patients had long, difficult treatment histories with minimal or no resolution of symptoms. These same patients had multiple surgical interventions, many weeks of traditional physical and occupational therapy, multiple high-cost diagnostic tests, and most often prescribed pain and anti-inflammation medicines.
The frustration of constantly dealing with challenging cases came up during a monthly clinician meeting. Jokingly, someone stated, “Wouldn’t it be great if we could have seen these patients at the very beginning of their treatment journey or when their symptoms first began.”
Shortly thereafter, we were approached by a local Fiberoptic Manufacturer (OFS, formally Lucent Technologies) who wanted to start an On-Site Wellness Program focusing proactively on work-related and nonwork-related Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), which accounted for a majority of their Workers’ Compensation costs. Many employees and management were already familiar with the successful and unique approach called BioSynchronistics that Quality Physical Therapy developed.
This perfect storm was the inception of the Early Symptom Intervention (ESI) Wellness Program, which began at OFS in 2008. We quickly realized the success was repeatable, added value to the company by reducing workers’ compensation injuries and associated costs, and changed employees’ lives in a positive way. For the first time, clinicians could resolve the problems before they become chronic conditions in a postural-based, whole-body wellness approach.
ESI Wellness helps foster proactive communication of painful symptoms that are leading indicators to work-related injuries. We proactively maintain your workforce by eliminating postural imbalances that could cause breakdowns in the body. These breakdowns or injuries are costly and unproductive waste. Eliminating the waste of musculoskeletal injuries, increasing productivity, and positively impacting employee morale is priceless.
